Studio Piper is a software instrument for Windows and Mac, controllable by the Technopipes, Deger Pipes, Redpipes or any MIDI bagpipe. It enables you to play and record truly authentic, high quality studio-sampled Highland pipes, Scottish Smallpipes, Border pipes and even Uilleann pipes. Each bagpipe is built from sound samples played by Fred Morrison on his own pipes.

All instruments can be played in any key over a two octave range, using any bagpipe fingering. Studio Piper loads within the sample player Engine so runs  as both stand alone and plugin and is compatible with all VST/AU hosts & DAWs.

CelticPipes is an easy-to-use music notation software application (for Mac and Windows) that allows you to compose and play quality scores for the Great Highland Bagpipe, Tin Whistle, Flute, Scottish Side Drum and Bodhran.

Import formats: ABC, BMW, BWW, PIO (PiobMaster), DST (DrumScriobh) - PIO and DST on Windows version only, currently).

CelticPipes is not currently compatible with Studio Piper or the Technopipes. Future compatibilty with both products is in the works.
